Be the kind of member you'd want to meet.
Klaeri's community is a place to share what you've learned, ask honest questions, and help each other read labels with more confidence. We're here to inform, not alarm — and the same goes for how we talk to one another.Be kind and assume good faith
People come here at every level of knowledge — first-time parents, people managing sensitivities, the simply curious. Treat questions with patience, disagree respectfully, and never make someone feel foolish for asking. No harassment, name-calling, or pile-ons.
Share information, not verdicts
Klaeri reports what databases publish — it never scores or grades ingredients, and neither should we. Share what a source says and link it where you can, rather than declaring a product "toxic" or "clean." Help people understand what's inside so they can make their own call.
- Cite where a claim comes from when you can
- Say "this database flags X" rather than "this is poison"
- Respect that safety depends on concentration, formulation, and the individual
No medical advice
Sharing your own experience is welcome. Diagnosing someone, prescribing treatments, or telling another member what is safe for their body or their child is not. For health decisions, point people toward a qualified professional rather than a comment thread.
Keep it honest
No spam, no undisclosed promotion, no fearmongering to push a product or brand. If you have a connection to something you're recommending, say so. Misinformation — especially scary claims with no source — may be removed.
Protect privacy
Don't post other people's personal or medical information, and think twice before sharing your own. Be especially careful with anything involving children.
What may be removed
- Harassment, hate, or targeted attacks
- Medical advice presented as fact
- Unsourced alarmism or deliberate misinformation
- Spam, scams, or undisclosed promotion
- Sharing others' private information
Repeated or serious violations can lead to losing posting access. We'd much rather help you stay than show you out — so when in doubt, lead with kindness.
